For centuries, people have consulted the ancient writings of the I-Ching to better understand philosophy, spirituality, religion and psychology.
Using a type of divination called cleromancy, the I-Ching consists of a series of 64 hexagrams that represent a code or programme of the “operating principles of life”. When drumming the I-Ching, each person will select one of the 64 cards or hexagrams with a drumming pattern that will assist in healing, release and affirmation of the principles. An introduction to the theory behind I-Ching will be discussed before drumming begins.
