An Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki attunement is the process by which a person receives the ability to give Reiki treatments and transfer life-giving energy to others.
In this course, you will learn about the history of this healing modality, the art of self-healing, as well how to share healing energy with people, plants and animals.
This is the student’s initiation into Reiki and is open to anyone. The focus during Reiki 1 is on opening the energy channels to connect to the universal life force energy. Students are attuned to a first symbol, and the tools of self-Reiki are taught, encouraging students to focus on practising Reiki on themselves, thereby working through their own obstacles.
The student now focuses on practising Reiki on others, as well as an expanded opening of the energy channels. Additionally, students receive an attunement to two more symbols. The Reiki symbols allow the practitioner to connect more deeply to the universal energy for emotional healing, as well as provide distance Reiki to individuals wherever they may be.
Becoming a Reiki Master represents a deep commitment to the Reiki practice, and some time should pass between achieving the Second Degree status and Master Level. The Reiki Master Level is traditionally considered the teacher’s level — a practitioner who has received the energy and knowledge to attune new Reiki practitioners. At this time a Master attunement symbol and further instructions are given.
ADDITIONAL ADVANCED REIKI ATTUNEMENTS:
Can be given in Violet Flame Reiki and Karuna Ki Reiki.
